The dead scar is just cluttered with rib cages and skulls. At least.. I like to think those are rib cages. For all I know it's just dead grass. But I like to think it's rib cages because it's just that much creepier.

WoWscreenshotaday - Days 26 and 27

Another few days and another race to be inspired by. This time the night elves have me in their grasp.

Day 26 - Entrance

27. 10 minutes from home

I always feel that home for my druid is Darnassus. She might not have her hearthstone set there for convenience anymore but it's always a quick teleport and free flight to return to her roots. It's not really a 10 minute trip but it can sometimes feel like one.

wowscreenshotaday - Days 23-25

I've been slacking a bit on these screenshots. I've been a bit obsessed with leveling my hunter. She was at level 85 and so close. I just knew I could get her a thunderwolf if I kept pushing. So it's time I played catchup with the screenshots again. I was messing around on my baby priest so all screenshots are heavily influenced by Serna, my shadowcow... will someday be a shadowcow.

23. Yellow

I've been wanting to throw together a yellow transmog since seeing Slice's not so successful one. I think I really like this look. It's more glamorous then I expected to build for her but it looks really pretty and would go well for a disc or holy look. The color matches her spells!

See! She's look lovely casting smite in the yellow set! If I can ever get her leveled.... poor Serna is level 12.

I found these while setting up some shots for culture. I went to a different location for that screenshot but while taking screenshots of the tent where Baine likes to hang out I saw these dream catchers along the sides. I've never seen them before and they are too gorgeous to go unnoticed! But they are definitely part of the background of Thunderbluff as you can see below

25. Culture

I'm on a Tauren kick today. But they are also have a pretty impressive culture. They're a nomadic people and their choice of structure reflects that with tents even in the permanent settlement. There a feel of an appreciation for nature in what they do and it's a gorgeous place to be.

Days 20-22 Wowscreenshotaday

I've been a bit obsessed lately with the leveling of my hunter. And screaming in frustration over the slowness of the internet. Anyway, enough with the excuses and on with the screenshots! I'm not feeling overly funny right now so it's just screenshots and a caption. Just feeling tired and stuffed up.

Wowscreenshotaday - Day 19 Lost

If there's one thing I'm good at doing it's getting lost. Both in-game and in real-life. Somehow I always find my way home again. But when I think of lost and WoW I immediately think of my druid. And just how awful I was to her. I had a terrible time reading the in-game map. I still have some trouble with it. My biggest problem is heading in the wrong direction. The quest says go west and I lined my arrow up so it's pointing in the right direction and get moving. This was the days before the in-game quest-helper. Anyway, I'd work really hard to make sure I was heading in the correct direction and find myself heading East instead of West. This has lead to many wonderful adventures. Like wall climbing Teldrassil and then falling off to my death. Somehow finding my body back and then trying to swim to a spot where I could get back in. I swam almost the whole way around before giving up and killing my toon and then rezzing at the spirit healer. I found out later that day if I had picked the other direction I would have made land fairly quickly and I had almost made it there before giving up. But the one place and questline I most remember having trouble with was the quest to find the great bear spirit. West is a difficult direction. I ran all over Moonglade. I even asked my hunter friend for help. She wasn't any. Couldn't even understand why or how I got to Moonglade. It took a day but I did find the spirit. I like to say hello to him whenever I do find him. But finding him was the easy part. Now it was time to leave. It took awhile but I eventually found the flight path person but I didn't have close to enough gold to cover the trip. My friend suggested killing stuff but there wasn't anything to kill. So I wandered around. I eventually saw a toon riding though on a cat mount. So I attempted to follow. They led me to this cave. Where I died. I hadn't found any other exits so I was determined to get though. I corpse ran the whole tunnel. And ended up in Felwood where I immediately got stomped on. This wasn't working. My friend was even more worried for me. First Moonglade then Felwood. What was I doing? I figured that couldn't be the right way out so teleported back to Moonglade. Then I remembered this button I had found earlier when I got my spirit trapped in some tree branches in Teldrassil. I had looked though all the help stuff and tried a button to get my character unstuck before eventually putting in a ticket to a GM. Well... I figured the character unstuck button was worth a try. And it took me back to the night elf starting zone! Damn that button was cool! It wasn't until almost a year later that I realized I had something in my bag called a hearthstone and it's job was to teleport me. That would have been useful to know a whole lot sooner.

WoWscreenshotaday Day 18, Someone you spoke to today

I'm back to being a bit late instead of early, early. But that's ok. I decided I'd blur the name today. But this is one of my guildies. On his alt. But that's ok. My warlock is an alt as well. We'd just finished up a night of raiding and were taking a quick break before venturing over to the world of Final Fantasy XIV. He was going to show me around. I'd taken a peek earlier but really wasn't enjoying myself. Having a tour guide really helps. Anyway. He's one of the people I jabber to. A good jabbering requires having a good spot to relax but I think he's more comfortable then I am taking up two spaces. Jeez, what's a goblin got to do to get some respect around here! Or a seat! Probably just as well that the seats are already taken. Sitting at these tables reminds me of being the little kid at the adult table.

Wowscreenshotaday - Day 17 Exercise

This is not my selected image. It'll come later and it'll be the largest screenshot. There's a bit of a story to it.  More then I really intended. My goal was to have a druid exercising her right to dance nude in the wood. Junior isn't too impressed with the dance.

wow screenshotaday days 14-16

I was originally just going to combine 14 and 15 but since it's now 3 am I figured I should try to get a screenshot done early instead of late. This midnight posting cuts it close.

So day 14 - Trash

The housekeeper should be fired. This house is trashed! I mean just look at this place! flies everywhere, broken furniture and is that a broken cart? The grandfather might have been an amazing farmer but I'm doubtful. If he couldn't keep his house in shape what chance does his farm really have? Maybe that's why it's full of rocks before I took it in hand.

Day 15 - the Best

This one is very subjective but I decided to show off the best hunter pet name I've ever come up with. I've named my turtle Soup. If I could have a pet bunny I would name it Hossenfeffer in an instant. In fact, I did have a real life rabbit named Hossenfeffer. Wouldn't that be a great name for the Darkmoon faire rabbit? Someday, if/when I get one that's exactly what I'll name it. Until then I'll have to entertain myself laughing because my turtle is named Soup. It's like a boy named Sue. It'll make him tough.

Day 16 - Cooking

Wowscreenshotaday - Day 13 Fast

I was a little torn about the screenshot I wanted to be my entry for fast. It was an accident. Here's what I was originally planning.

I wanted a screenshot of my druid. For the longest time she was my toon with the fastest flying. I'm terrible about holding onto gold. I make some gold and then promptly spend it on things like new pets and mounts. So in Wrath I could barely scrape together the 1000 gold needed to get regular flying. In fact I saved buying flying until later so I could buy duel-spec for my druid when it first came out. But then one day I got a lucky drop on my priest and instead of using it I sold it for 10,000 gold. So what did I do with my windfall? I went to buy faster flying for my druid. To get the fastest speed of all my druid managed to snag all the holiday achievements to get a purple protodrake. She's no longer my only toon with all the fastest flying speed but when I think of fast I still think of her. Besides, no one is faster at getting into the sky!

But when I went to take my gorgeous star-studded screenshot I got this.

Flying kitty!!!! The game was being a bit slow so instead of showing my flight form it was still showing me as a kitty. I wish the screenshots could show you just how fast those paws were moving. It was like the cat was dashing in double time.

Wowscreenshotaday - Day 12 Macro

I'll admit that I've only recently gotten into macros and the only toon I really have with macros is my warlock Vaunt and they are ones to make the warlock green fire fight easier such as casting enslave demon on the pit lord and to have the pit lord cast his fel breath in my direction. Yes, my direction since it removes dots. Anyway, the only ones I've made myself are ones for mouseovers and one to annouce that I've dropped a soulwell. So I went to google to see what it would have to say about macro photography. This is what wikipedia has to say "is extreme close-up photography, usually of very small subjects, in which the size of the subject in the photograph is greater than life size" So I went looking for a subject that I would usually ignore and found this fish. I think he looks pretty good.

Wowscreenshotaday Day 11 - I love doing this!

I was very influenced by my recently acquired green fire for this shot. I just love casting it. But I also really like being a demonology warlock and casting metamorphosis. And I think it looks pretty awesome in green. But those are just superficial reasons for why I love my new green fire. The thing I really love about WoW is finding new challenges and conquering them. It's the thing that sends me into old dungeons and raids to see if I can solo them. It's what gets me creating new transmog ideas and sometimes to even try and obtain them. And it's what I really love about raiding. The challenge and the satisfaction of winning. And the green fire is the ultimate warlock challenge with one really awesome reward that'll last a long time.
