Feeling out of sorts
I'm hoping to sneak this post in. Usually I'm not deliberately sneaky with my posts but this one I will be.
I just wanted to get some of the real-world non-WoW stuff that's been going on out of my head and writing about it seems to help.
I hadn't been feeling too great lately and Wednesday figured enough was enough and went to the doctors. Well, nurse-practitioner if you really wanted to get technical. After an exam and some blood-work she really wanted me to get an ultra-sound done because she thought something was wrong with my gallbladder.
Being told that it could be something is very different from being told that they are very certain it is. Yesterday I had the ultra-sound and after I got home I got a phone call. They were now very certain the problem was my gallbladder and they were going to make an appointment for me to see a surgeon to discuss the possibility of having it removed. There might have been more to that phone call but I can't really remember it now.
I'll know more on Wednesday after my appointment. But it seems like something that is really scary. I know logically that it's not that big of a deal and that there are worse things but at the moment it's a lot to deal with.
Now I better stop before I start crying again which will send my cat running off into the wilderness. He's such a guy because he really can't handle tears very well.

More Raid Pets!
I can't believe there's already information about the new patch coming out! And usually I don't spend too much time browsing through the new information but I saw something today that really has me excited.
New Raid Pets! And a new Raiding with Leashes Achievement!
Here's the summary from Wowhead:
Raiding with Leashes II: Attunement Edition - 10 new pets from Karazhan, Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep. Rewards you with Tito ( Tito's Basket).
Lil' Bad Wolf ( Spiky Collar), Menagerie Custodian ( Instant Arcane Sanctum Security Kit), Netherspace Abyssal (Netherspace Portal-Stone), Tideskipper ( Shell of Tide-Calling), Fiendish Imp ( Satyr Charm), Tainted Waveling (Tainted Core), Coilfang Stalker ( Dripping Strider Egg), Pocket Reaver ( Tiny Fel Engine Key), Lesser Voidcaller (Crystal of the Void), Phoenix Hawk Hatchling ( Brilliant Phoenix Hawk Feather)
This time the new pets will be added to three of the BC Raids and the achievement pet is Tito. I just bet Tito is a dog :)
I'm usually not too in love with the dog pets since I'm such a cat person but Tito is Oz and I love the land of Oz. Speaking of Oz, who's seen the new movie Oz? I'm in love with it but since no one is singing "Over the Rainbow" I was pretty set to love it anyway. It's also set off my rabid reading and I'm working my way though the Wizard of Oz series. I'm about half-way though the first book and I can't wait to reach the story of the Tin Woodsman of Oz. There's actually something seriously creepy about the series when you think about it. I mean, you have a little girl murdering witches, a person who was chopped to pieces and replaced part after part with tin until he was all tin, a ruler who will take your head if she thinks you're pretty and use it for herself, and the tin woodsman holding a conversation with his old head. I guess Oz is a pretty typical fairy tale story after all XD

20 Days of Blogging - Day 9
Day 09 – Your first blog post
My first blog post was on August 22nd and it was a self-introduction. I don't really have much more to say about my first post...
But here's a bit of what I've done since then. Please remember I've only had about 100 posts since then so I've got some pretty slim pickings. But here are some of my favorites posts:
This was one of my favorite share topics and I really enjoyed coming up with ideas for more pets. Please Blizzard give us more raid pets.
My very first Who's That Pet. They've been fun for me to do and this week will be my 11th one. That's not too many yet and I know lately I've been a slacker about posting them but I'm trying to be better about it.
My one attempt at trying to explain how to kill something. I also attempted to make a video and I had quite a bit of trouble working Fraps. Which I put on my laptop. Which is once again off being repaired. I think that is my laptop's fourth trip in to be fixed. Isn't technology great?
This is one of my favorite posts but I didn't write it. Although I did feel pretty proud of the one I wrote for Pretty Fly for a Draenei.
In a way this was still very much me trying to introduce myself. I didn't want to blab on and on about myself but it's a bit difficult with my druid. She was my main for quite some time and she's still very special to me. There's so many things I did with her that make me laugh now because I was such a newb.

10 Days of Pet Battling - Day 2
Day 2: What pets don't you like and why?
I don't like the frog pets. Both old and new model. As I mentioned in my 20 days of blogging - I don't like frogs. I really like the older models better then the newer ones because they are boxy and less like a real frog. I could tolerate them. I have frogs in my collection because they're easy to get but I never have them out. I just really don't like frogs. I don't have an issue with other pets even the roaches and snakes are fine but I just can't stand frogs.

20 Days of Blogging - Day 8
Day 08 – 10 things we don’t know about you
Oh!!! Secrets! This would be the juicy post XD. 10 completely random things about me. I hope I can think of that many things.
1. I have flunked out of college. Academic probation and dismissal. Big words for saying I screwed up big time. I originally started at a state college as a horticulture major. I was in honors everything and I was taking chemistry and biology, English, labs, and the real killer, Marching Band. I was burned out by by midterms and I didn't really recover. Strangely enough the only class I actually passed was band.
2. I never wake up the first time my alarm rings. I have it set for 6 am but the earliest I wake up is 8. So that leaves at least two hours of hitting the snooze button. My alarm rings every nine minutes. If I actually hit the alarm right away and not sleep though it for five minutes then I hit the snooze button 13 times.
3. My cat's name is Radar. I named him after a character from MASH. Which brings me to my next secret.
4. My cat was a bribe. My friend really wanted me to be roommates with her and she really didn't want to live in the dorms. She wanted to live at the college's apartments. I really wanted to stay in the dorms. But she told me there were pet-friendly apartments and if I went with her I could get a cat. She had herself a roommate and I immediately went cat shopping.
5. I have dressed my cat up in doll clothes. I first did it just because I could. But it gave me a great idea for a class project. So this is a combination of different images and I used three pictures of my cat. One with him in a dress being the princess, one with him in a jacket playing the prince, and the last picture is his tail playing the part of a long braid of hair. Strangely enough my cat still likes me. I should mention that all the images were found online except for the images of the cats.
6. I am terrified of frogs. They scare me. I see a frog and I'm screaming like a little girl. Loud, shrill, and repeatedly. And I maintain a ten foot distance. If there's a chair I'm standing on it. I like to think my older sister is part of my fear of frogs. She once told me that frogs gave you warts and chased me around the house until she caught me and made me kiss a frog. I'd like to blame her but I'm fairly certain I was afraid of frogs even before that incident.
7. My childhood dream was to be an author. And an illustrator. But mostly an author. I thought I'd write and illustrate my own children's book. But the important part was writing my own stories.
8. I can play the piano and the clarinet. I began taking piano lessons in elementary school from my aunt and continued taking lessons from different people even after I started going to college. I'm only an intermediate player but it's still fun. I started playing the clarinet in the fifth grade and played though high school. In high school I made the switch to bass clarinet, which is just a larger saxophone looking clarinet.
9. We used to have several railroad retaining walls in the backyard. One of my favorite places to go sledding in the winter was over the railroad ties. My mom said it about gave her a heart attack the first time she saw my sister and me go flying over the wall. And it was flying. I distinctly remember being airborne. Those walls have long since been removed.
10. In high school the only book I would actually read was my English book. And I would have it read from cover to cover before the end of the semester. The rest of the classes I would start the semester off trying to read but by the end of the year I would just find the answers to the questions in the book and my notebooks because I would remember what was being taught class much better then anything I ever read. That actually applies to a lot of my classes too... Why do I buy my textbooks? I never used them. /headdesk.

10 Days of Pet Battling
Day 1: Your first day pet battling.
The first day of pet battling was actually in the beta. During one of the few times I actually decided to go sneak a peak at what was coming. I remember that I didn't have any pets because there was something funny going on with the character transfer. So all I had where the account pets like the core-hound and the warbot. So those were the pets I used. I got them to level five and then figured I was tired of all the bugging out that was going on with the pet fights.
My first pet battle team after MoP was released was my Lil' Deathwing (I spent how much for the collector's edition I was damn well getting some use from that pet, turns out it was a good choice), my Clockwork Rocket Bot, and my Voodoo Figurine. It was interesting. I had no idea what I was really doing. I still don't really know what I'm doing. I just wander around and capture stuff and hope it's blue.
Anyway, that first day I learned the training on my brand-new panda monk and then decided that wasn't my best choice for pet battler. She didn't even have a mount so her traveling speed was slow. So I dug out my mage since she could traveler to the cities much faster then the rest. And I went on a catching and battling spree until it became quite late. Then I returned to leveling my toons.

20 Days of Blogging - Day 7
Day 07 – The reason behind your blog’s name
The reason behind the name was pure blind panic. I needed something dammit! I really wanted to take part in a share topic but to do that I needed to introduce myself first. So I needed a name and I needed it pronto.
The frost is because my death knight lady's favorite spec is frost. I'll dabble with blood but what I really enjoy most is running around with my two swords and spamming howling blast. It's a sad, sad thing, but there it is.
The claws comes from my druid. I wanted something to represent her since she's still very special to me since she used to be my main and is sort-of my second main. At the time Arita was a feral/feral druid. Cat and bear. And what cats and bears both have are claws. I didn't realize at first that there is a kitty ability called claw but it's an ability that no feral druid should ever have on their action bar. Unless they are leveling but only until they get mangle. Then you have to bash the ability over the head with a shovel and bury it in the backyard.
So frost is my death knight and claws is my druid.

20 Days of Blogging - Day 6
Day 06 – Your workplace/desk (photo and/or description)
I'm starting to feel that I'll be doing this forever at the rate I'm going though them. Although I'll admit I wasn't too keen on getting this one done. Show people my room? Must get some cleaning done! And find a camera. Eventually I settled for shifting all the junk to the other side of the room and using my phone to take the pictures.
So this is my room. It used to be my brothers and so the carpet is green and the walls used to be white with a blue ceiling with clouds on it. The shelves have a railroad track on it and there used to be a train that would run when you hit the switch by the light switch. It was pretty neat. Makes a great place to store books now. I used to share a room upstairs with my little sister while my older sister and brother had the two room in the basement. Long story short, there's been some moving around and now my little sister and I have the basement, my older sister is upstairs, and my brother is out on his own. Because the room was in rough shape I was allowed to paint it. My mom even said I could paint it whatever color I wanted. She's not going to make that mistake again. She actually doesn't really mind the colors but she thinks the purple is just too dark for the size of the room but she loves my ceiling.
This is my lovely desktop. I don't have a picture of my laptop since it's being fixed. Again. Ugh. But I still have my desktop. To the very far right is my printer. It's also a copier and scanner. Next is the tower. It's about 2 maybe 3 years old but I haven't had any trouble with it. When I got it I had the wireless built into it which means I can set it up anywhere on the farm. On top is a pencil case full of important stuff I don't want to lose. Like my tablet pen and my authenticator. Not losing stuff only works when you remember to put stuff back. Under the pencil case is my tablet. I'm still not very good at using it yet. Then there's a book. But there's books everywhere. And my headphones/mic. I don't know why I have speakers since I never seem to use them. I always get yelled at to turn the volume down. There's the monitor, the mouse, and the speakers. There's also the keyboard which only has one leg so I help keep it propped up with yet another book. And the mousepad which had been patched with ducktape. I should really get a new mousepad and keyboard. Someday. My desk is a cheap one and fairly old. But it still works. There's actually a place for the keyboard but I can't use it and hold the cat at the same time without going so far away from the monitor I can't see. So I used my keyboard tray to hold my cat. The computer chair is brand new. It was a Christmas present from my parents which they got me in January. And I have to have my lap blanket although I'm usually not cold. It's a just because thing.

It kinda seems familiar like a story from a book
Holy cow, where has time gone! Sorry, been pretty distracted with real life stuff so I've spent my free time in Wow instead of blogging. It's those darn midterms, all the teachers seem to think we need tests and whatnot.
My guild is still working on MSV. Yeah, we're being really slow. But it's a great group and there's been a lot of change with it but I think we're finally starting to get a pretty solid reliable group together. Tonight we were going to be working on Elegon but I wasn't feeling too excited about being on Wow. But I was really surprised to see I had some mail.
I was really excited! A book! "My best friend is a person who will give me a book I have not read." (Abraham Lincoln). I'm just really excited to have gotten a book. Thanks Arvash! I didn't really expect to win but since the topic was books I couldn't resist commenting.

Who's that Pet?
Sorry for being a bit late. I made the mistake of falling asleep.
Anyway, a bit different this week. I'm looking for all that pets this could possibly be.
I count 12, can we name them all?
